Reaction Steps
A mixture is 1.291 g (2.56 mM) of 1-azido-2-(2-benzoyloxypropan-1-yl)-3-n-hexadecylthiopropane m12b, 130 mg of 10% palladium on charcoal in 130 ml of methanol is hydrogenated by the same procedure as described in (129) and crude product of the titled compound m13 is obtained.
