Procedure

Anhydrous ethylamine is reacted with N-cyano-N'-[2-(2-pyrazinylmethylthio)ethyl]-S-methylisothiourea by the procedure of Example 4 to give N-cyano-N'-ethyl-N"-[2-(2-pyrazinylmethylthio)ethyl]guanidine.
