Cyclohexylphenethydichlorosilane having the general formula ##STR12## which is produced by reacting a dichlorosilane and styrene in the presence of the catalyst of claim 6 at a temperature of 30°-150° C. for 0.1-60 hours to produce a monophenethyldichlorosilane and reacting said monosubstitute with cyclohexene at a temperature of 80°-150° C. for 5-20 hours.
