Reaction Steps
The same general procedure outlined above for the preparation of benzimidazole derivatives was used, employing 2,3-diaminobenzoic acid 1 and tert-butyl 4-(2-formylphenoxy)piperidine-1-carboxylate 26 to produce 2-(2-(1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)piperidin-4-yloxy)phenyl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole-4-carboxylic acid 27. MS (ESI) calcd for C24H27N3O5: 437.20; found: 438 [M+H].
