4-Chloro-N-(4-nitro-benzyl)-N-((R)-2-oxo-azepan-3-yl)-benzenesulfonamide (0.10 g, 0.22 mmol) was dissolved in ethanol (15 ml) and treated with SnCl2 (0.42 g, 2.2. mmol) overnight at 70° C. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure and purified directly using preparative RP(C18) chromatography: lyophilisate 27 mg; MS: m/e=408.2 (MH+), 425.3 (MNH4+).
