Reaction Steps
Following the procedure described in EXAMPLE 1 for the synthesis of 2-[2-(3-chlorophenyl)-2H-tetrazol-5-yl]pyridine, 3,5-dimethylaniline (72.7 mg, 0.6 mmol) and 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde (64.2 mg, 0.6 mmol) were employed to obtain 2-[2-(4-pyridyl)-2H-tetrazol-5-yl]pyridine as an orange solid.
