A mixture of 1.00 eq. of [6-(3-Amino-phenyl)-imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazin-8-yl]-pyridin-4-ylmethyl-amine (5) and 1.00 eq. of 3-trifluoromethylphenyl isocyanate in toluene is stirred at room temperature for 24 hrs. The mixture is partitioned between EtOAc and saturated NaHCO3. The aqueous phase is extracted with EtOAc and the combined extracts are dried over Na2SO4. The solvent is removed under reduced pressure and the resulting residue is purified by flash chromatography (EtOAc) to yield 1-(3-{8-[(Pyridin-4-ylmethyl)-amino]-imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazin-6-yl}-phenyl)-3-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-urea 6.
