Procedure

The title product of Example 130 Step 2 was dissolved in 5 mL of MeOH, and a solution of 244 mg of 50% aqueous NaOH in 1 mL of water was added. After stirring for 2 h, the mixture was acidified, extracted with DCM, the combined organic extracts dried over Na2SO4, filtered, and evaporated. Chromatography of the residue over silica gel using 25% EtOAc—heptane—1% HOAc gave the title compound, 65 mg, as a pure white crystalline solid. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) 8.34 (t, 1H, J=4.6 Hz), 7.86 (s, 1H), 7.72 (d, 2H, J=8.8 Hz), 7.60 (s, 1H), 7.48 (d, 2H, J=8.8Hz), 7.03 (s, 1H), 5.93 (q, 1H, J=7.2 Hz), 3.78 (m, 2H), 1.44 (s, 6H). LCMS m/z=488.0.
