The title compound was prepared following the method described above for the synthesis of 4-((1R,3aS,5aR,5bR,7aR,11aS,11bR,13aR,13bR)-3a-(2-(dimethylamino)-2-oxoethylamino)-5a,5b,8,8,11a-pentamethyl-1-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-2,3,3a,4,5,5a,5b,6,7,7a,8,11,11a,11b,12,13,13a,13b-octadecahydro-1H-cyclopenta[a]chrysen-9-yl)benzoic acid using 4-(2-chloroethyl)pyridine as the alkylating reagent in Step 1. The product was isolated as an off white solid (10 mg, 2.9%). LCMS: m/e 635.40 (M+H)+, 2.31 min (method 13). 1H NMR (400 MHz, METHANOL-d4) δ 8.83 (d, J=5.8 Hz, 2H), 8.06 (d, J=6.0 Hz, 2H), 7.95 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H), 7.25 (d, J=8.3 Hz, 2H), 5.33 (d, J=4.5 Hz, 1H), 4.90 (s, 1H), 4.76 (s, 1H), 3.57-3.46 (m, 4H), 2.86-2.75 (m, 1H), 2.27-2.08 (m, 5H), 2.05-1.89 (m, 2H), 1.79 (s, 3H), 1.85-1.67 (m, 4H), 1.66-1.49 (m, 7H), 1.45-1.23 (m, 4H), 1.21 (s, 3H), 1.14 (s, 3H), 1.09 (s, 3H), 1.00 (s, 3H), 0.98 (s, 3H).
