Reaction Steps

A mixture of Example L (0.2 g, 0.58 mmol) and 1-naphthylisocyanate (0.10 g, 0.6 mmol) in dry CH2Cl2 (4 ml) was stirred at RT under N2 for 18 h. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the crude product was purified by column chromatography using ethyl acetate/hexane/CH2Cl2 (3/1/0.7) as the eluent (0.11 g, off-white solid) to yield 1-{3-tert-butyl-1-[3-(2-morpholino-2-oxoethyl)phenyl]-1H-pyrazol-5-yl}-3-(naphthalene-1-yl)urea. mp: 194–196; 1H NMR (200 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 9.07 (1H, s), 8.45 (s, 1H), 8.06–7.93 (m, 3H), 7.69–7.44 (m, 7H), 7.33–7.29 (d, 6.9 Hz, 1H), 6.44 (s, 1H), 3.85 (m, 2H), 3.54–3.45 (m, 8H), 1.31 (s, 9H); MS:
