Starting from [(1R)-8-bromo-6-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]indol-1-yl]acetic acid (from Step 1 of Example 62A) which was converted to methyl[(1R)-8-bromo-6-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]indol-1-yl]acetate by addition of CH2N2, the title compound was synthesized following the procedures described in Steps 1 and 2 of Example 44.
