The title compound (657 mg, 87%) was synthesized by the reaction of N-(2-aminoethyl)-glycine ethyl ester 2HCl (398 mg, 2.0 mmol) with 5-chloro-benzothiazole-2-sulfonyl chloride (536 mg, 2.0 mmol) as per the procedure of example 1. 1H NMR (500 MHz; DMSO-d6) δ 8.32 (d, 1H), 8.31 (s, 1H), 7.71 (d, 1H), 4.02 (q, 2H), 3.25 (s, 2H), 3.14 (t, 2H), 2.62 (t, 2H), 1.15 (t, 3H).
