A solution of 2-{3-[7-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-4-oxo-4,5-dihydro-3H-benzo[b][1,4]diazepin-2-yl]-phenyl}-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (Example 153) (49 mg, 0.1 mmol) in 2-amino-ethanol was heated to 40° C. for 40 min. The cooled solution was partitioned between ethyl acetate and H2O and the organic layer was dried over Na2SO4 and evaporated in vacuum. The residue was triturated with ethyl acetate to give to give the title compound as light yellow solid (21 mg).
