A procedure similar to that described in Example 18-6) was performed with 4-tert-butoxycarbonylaminomethyl-2-tert-butoxycarbonylmethoxyaniline (990 mg, 2.61 mmol) and (S)-9-bromo-5-carboxymethyl-6,7-dihydro-1H, 5H-pyrido[1,2,3-de]quinoxaline-2,3-dione (1.06 g, 3.12 mmol) to give a total amount of 1.42 g of the title compound (81%).
