Hydrogenate a mixture containing 3.0 gm of the product of Step D, 30 ml of AcOH and 0.6 gm of palladium oxide at 45 lbs./sq.in. until no further hydrogen is taken up. Filter and remove the solvent (in vacuo) to yield 1.77 gm of the desired product, Rf is 0.37 (eluted from silica gel with 10% conc. NH3 /CH3OH).
