Reaction Steps

The procedure of Example 49 is used with 0.209 g of 2,3-dihydro-6-methoxy-1H-isoindol-5-ol (Example 105) and 0.57 g of α-(5-bromopentyl)-3,4-dimethoxy-α-[(4-methylphenyl)thio]benzeneacetonitrile. This affords 0.5 g of the desired product as a gray foam. MS(Hi res): m/z Calcd for C31H36N2SO4 533.2474 Found 533.2460
