In an analogous reaction to Example 1b, 2.17 g (16.41 mmol) of 2-chloro-6-fluoropyrazine (prepared as described in Example 1a) and 4.50 g (16.41 mmol) of 4-(trans-4-pentylcyclohexyl)phenylboronic acid gives 3.36 g of 2-fluoro-6-[4-(trans-4-pentylcyclohexyl)-phenyl]pyrazine. ##STR19## 3b
