Following the general procedure of PREPARATION 8 and making non-critical variations but starting with 1-[1,1-dimethylethoxycarbonyl]-4-[(3-amino)-2-pyridinyl)piperazine (International Publication No. WO 88/08424, 1.0 g), 2-butanone (0.27 g) sodium cyanoborohydride (0.23 g), acetic acid (5.1 ml) and methanol, the title compound is obtained, NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) 7.68, 6.94, 6.86, 4.18, 3.56, 3.33, 3.05, 1.53, 1.47, 1.18 and 0.96 δ.
