Procedure
A solution of 0.30 g (1.0 mmole) of 6,7-dichloro1-cyclopropyl-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid, 0.26 g (2.0 mol) of N-ethyl-3-pyrrolidinemethanamine and 10 ml of 3-picoline was heated under reflux for 16 hours. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and the solid filtered off and washed with acetonitrile to give 0.33 g of the title compound, mp >310° C.
