1.31 g (1.8 mmole) of the compound of Example 4 was dissolved in a mixture of 100 ml of ethanol and 50 ml of 70% acetic acid. Then, 0.6 g of 10% Pd-C was added thereto and catalytic reduction was carried out at room temperature. 19 hours later, the reaction mixture was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure. The residue was solidified by acetone to give 994 mg (yield: 87.2%) of the desired product.
