Procedure

The title compound was prepared in 39% yield from 5-chloro-3-iodo-indazole and 1,1,1-trifluoro-3-iodopropane according to the general procedure for Preparation 10A. The minor isomer was not isolated or characterized. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ 2.73-2.85 (2H, m), 4.59 (2H, t, J=7.2 Hz), 7.31 (1H, d, J=9.2 Hz), 7.43 (1H, dd, J=1.6, 8.4 Hz), 7.48 (1H, d, J=1.2 Hz).
