To a solution of (E)-2-(2-(quinoxalin-2-yl)vinyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a][1,5]naphthyridine (32 mg, 0.099 mmol) in 1 N sodium hydroxide aqueous solution (1 mL) and methanol (2 mL) was added Pd/C (10%, 5 mg). The mixture was stirred under hydrogen at room temperature for 16 h. The mixture was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated, and purified by reverse phase prep-HPLC to give 15 mg of 2-(2-(quinoxalin-2-yl)ethyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a][1,5]naphthyridine as a yellow solid.
