A mixture of 8A (1.9 g, 5.8 mmol) in AcOH (10 mL) and H3PO4 (10 mL) was refluxed for 2 hours. TLC monitored the reaction. After the reaction completed, the reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and poured into water (20 mL) The yellow solids were precipitated out, collected by filtration and dried to give product 8B (1.78 g, 93.68% yield).
