A mixture of 10B (10.3 g, 27.33 mmol, crude) and FeCl3.6H2O (33.04 g, 164.0 mmol, 6 eq) was added to 1,4-dioxane (300 mL) The mixture was refluxed for 16 hours. TLC monitored the reaction.
