To a solution of (R)-ethyl 3-((1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)pyrrolidin-2-yl)methoxy)picolinate (1.00 g, 285 mmol, EXAMPLE 33 Step 1) in dichloromethane (10 mL) was added trifluoroacetic acid (3 mL) at room temperature. After being stirred at room temperature for 8 h, the volatile was evaporated to afford 1.36 g (quant.) of the title compound that was used directly in the next step without further purification.
