To N-(6-chloro-5-methylpyridin-2-yl)-1-(2,2-difluorobenzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)cyclopropanecarboxamide (0.11 g, 0.3 mmol) in 1,2-dimethoxyethane (3 mL) was added 3-chloro-2-methoxypyridin-4-ylboronic acid (73 mg, 0.39 mmol), tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)-palladium (0) (17 mg, 0.015 mmol), and 2 M sodium carbonate (0.3 mL, 0.6 mmol) and the reaction mixture was heated to 80° C. overnight. The crude material was purified by silica gel chromatography (eluting with 0-20% ethyl acetate in hexanes) to yield the product (72 mg, 50%). ESI-MS m/z calc. 473.10. found 474.3 (M+1)+. Retention time 2.19 minutes.
