Procedure
The solution of tert-butyl 4-(4-(6-(butylamino)imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazin-3-yl)benzoyl)piperazine-1-carboxylate (65 mg, 0.14 mmol) was cooled to 0° C. and treated with acetyl chloride (320 mg, 4.07 mmol). The reaction was maintained at room temperature for overnight. The resulting solution was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by preparative HPLC (neutral) to afford (4-(6-(butylamino)imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazin-3-yl)phenyl)(piperazin-1-yl)methanone acetic acid salt (52 mg, 76% yield) as a white solid: 1H NMR (METHANOL-d4) δ: 8.34 (d, J=8.3 Hz, 2H), 7.87 (s, 1H), 7.64 (d, J=9.6 Hz, 1H), 7.55 (d, J=8.3 Hz, 2H), 6.75 (d, J=9.6 Hz, 1H), 3.40 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 3.04 (br. s., 3H), 1.92-2.02 (m, 7H), 1.73 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 1.41-1.59 (m, 2H), 1.02 (t, J=7.3 Hz, 3H); LRMS (ESI) m/e 379.2 [(M+H)+, calcd for C21H27O 379.2].
