The title compound was synthesized using the method of Example 34(b), but starting from 4-bromo-2-methylbenzonitrile and 1-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole. 1H-NMR (400 MHz; CDCl3): δ 2.60 (s, 3H), 6.69 (d, 1H), 7.64 (m, 2H), 7.70 (d, 1H), 7.78 (s, 1H), 10.47 (br s, 1H).
