Reaction Steps

5.2 g (14.0 mmol) of ethyl 5-(4-ethylphenyl)piperidine-3-carboxylate and 2.1 g (2.1 mmol, 1.2 eq.) of cyclopentanecarbonyl chloride were reacted according to General Method 3A. Yield: 4.8 g (96% of theory)
