To a solution of tert-butyl 6-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-3-nitro-2-(quinolin-6-ylmethylamino)pyridin-4-ylcarbamate (950 mg, 2 mmol) in methanol (10 mL) was added 10% Pd/C (95 mg, 0.1 eq). The reaction was stirred at room temperature under 1 atm of H2 for 1 h, then filtered. The filtrate was concentrated to afford the title compound (890 mg), which was used for the next step without further purification. MS (m/z): 446 (M+1)+.
