The title compound was prepared in 24% yield from 2-hydrazinylpyridine-4-carboxylic acid and ethyl 3-cyclopropyl-3-oxopropanoate according to the procedure for the preparation of Example 1. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD): δ 0.83-0.88 (2H, m), 1.05-1.09 (2H, m), 1.88-1.91 (1H, m), 4.86 (1H, s), 7.70 (1H, dd, J=5.2, 1.2 Hz), 8.54 (1H, d, J=5.2 Hz), 8.75 (1H, s).
