A flask was charged with (S)-methyl 2-tert-butoxy-2-(7-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-(2-chloropyrimidin-4-yl)-5-methylbenzo[d]thiazol-6-yl)acetate (40.0 mg, 0.077 mmol) and 1-tert-butylpiperazine (33.1 mg, 0.232 mmol). 1,4-Dioxane (1 mL) was added, and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 h. Upon completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was filtered through Celite (ethyl acetate eluent), concentrated, and used without further purification. LCMS-ESI+ calc'd for C33H41ClN5O3S (M+H+): 622.3; Found: 622.2 (M+H+).
