To a solution of 2-methylquinoline-6-carboxylic acid (200 mg, 1.070 mmol) in DCM (30 mL), was added HATU (489 mg, 1.283 mmol) and TEA (324 mg, 3.208 mmol). The solution was stirred at 15° C. for 30 minutes before (R)-1-amino-3-(3,4-dihydro isoquinolin-2(1H)-yl)propan-2-ol (264 mg, 1.283 mmol) was added. The resulting solution was stirred for another 16 h at 15° C., until the reaction was complete by LCMS analysis. The mixture was then concentrated under vacuum to give the crude material which was purified by Preparative HPLC to give the title compound (118 mg, 29%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, METHANOL-d4) δ 8.33 (d, J=1.9 Hz, 1H), 8.15 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 1H), 8.09 (dd, J=2.1, 8.8 Hz, 1H), 7.93 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 7.49 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.15-7.05 (m, 4H), 4.18 (quin, J=6.1 Hz, 1H), 3.79 (s, 2H), 3.63-3.55 (m, 2H), 2.95-2.90 (m, 4H), 2.76 (s, 3H), 2.76-2.68 (m, 2H). LCMS (m/z): 376.1 [M+H]+
