Reaction Steps
2-Bromo-6-(1-methylhydrazinyl)pyridine (1.58 g, 7.80 mmol) and 2-methylpiperidin-4-one (975 mg, 8.63 mmol) were heated in EtOH (10 mL) at reflux for 16 h, and then the mixture was concentrated to provide the title compound as a white foam, carried forward crude assuming 100% yield: ESI MS m/z 282 [M+H]+.
