tert-Butyl 2-bromo-7,9-dimethyl-5,7,8,9-tetrahydro-6H-pyrido[3′,4′:4,5]pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine-6-carboxylate (2-((4 mg, 0.640 mmol) and 4-(4-fluorophenethyl)piperazin-2-one (141 mg, 0.640 mmol) were reacted following the procedure for Example 2 (step e) to provide the title compound (245 mg, 73%) as a colorless oil: ESI MS m/z 522 [M+H]+.
