Reaction Steps
The quinoxalin-2-one of the present example is prepared by reducing 6-nitro-3-thiophen-2-yl-1H-quinoxalin-2-one of Example 39 with H2NNH2.H2O in the presence of Pd/C in refluxing MeOH.
