Methyl (3S,4R)-4-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-(6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridazin-3-yl)pyrrolidine-3-carboxylate obtained in Step A of Preparation 22 was dissolved in DMF (5 ml). Cs2CO3 (1.11 g, 3.41 mmol) was added, and methyl iodide (0.71 mL, 11.40 mmol) was added dropwise. The reaction mixture was stirred at 20-30° C. for 2 hours and concentrated in vacuo. The obtained residue was diluted with EtOAc, washed with water and purified by column chromatography (eluent: EtOAc/Hex=1/1) to give the title compound (0.55 g, 70%).
