A solution of (S)-tert-butyl 3-((R)-6-allyl-6-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-oxo-1,3-oxazinan-3-yl)piperidine-1-carboxylate (150 mg, 0.359 mmol) in 20% TFA/CH2Cl2 (5 mL) was stirred at 0° C. for 2 h. The mixture was concentrated to give (R)-6-allyl-6-(4-fluorophenyl)-3-((S)-piperidin-3-yl)-1,3-oxazinan-2-one (112 mg, crude), which was used for the next without further purification.
