A mixture of 0.6 g of 6-(benzyloxy)-3-(3,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-1-(piperidin-4-yl)quinazoline-2,4(1H,3H)-dione obtained in stage 1.7 and 0.113 g of ammonium formate in 5 ml of ACN is irradiated under a microwave field at 140° C. for 1 h 00. The mixture is filtered and the filtrate is evaporated under reduced pressure to give 0.62 g of the expected product.
