Reaction Steps

To a solution of 500 mg (0.98 mmol) Boc-N-[3-(2-Amino-ethoxy)-4-pentafluoroethyl-phenyl]-2-chloro-nicotinamide in 10 ml CH2Cl2 was added 10 ml TFA and stirred for 2 h. The reaction was concentrated down, treated with 6N aqueous NaOH, and extracted 3 times with CH2Cl2. The combined organic extracts were dried over Na2SO4, filtered, concentrated down, and dried under vacuum, yielding the titled compound.
