Reaction Steps
A mixture of 7-[2-[2-(2,2,2-trifluoroacetamido)-thiazol-4-yl]-2-(4-fluorobenzyloxyimino)acetamido]-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid (syn isomer, 2.9 g.), sodium acetate (4.1 g.), water (60 ml.) and tetrahydrofuran (30 ml.) was treated in a similar manner to that of Example 16-(2) to give 7-[2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-(4-fluorobenzyloxyimino)acetamido]-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid (syn isomer, 2.68 g.), m.p. 203° to 207° C. (dec.).
