Procedure
The compound obtained in Example 18 is dissolved in a minimum of methanol and then 4 equivalents of O-methylhydroxylamine, previously dissolved in a few milliliters of water, and 4.5 equivalents of pyridine are added in succession. The reaction mixture is heated at reflux for 24 hours and then hydrolysed in water and filtered; the resulting precipitate is recrystallised from methanol.
