Reaction Steps
Compound 56 (0.033 g, 0.056 mmol) was dissolved in 5 mL acetonitrile. To this was added diisopropylethylamine (0.032 mL, 0.184 mmol) and acetyl chloride (0.05 mL, 0.703 mmol). The reaction was allowed to stir for 2 hours then was quenched with the addition of ˜2 ml of methanol. The solvents were evaporated and the residue purified via reverse phase chromatography eluting with a gradient of acetonitrile:water 10-90%.The proper fractions were isolated and the solvents were lyophilized to yield the product (0.021 g, 0.028 mmol) as an off-white powder. 1H NMR (CDCl3): δ 8.61 (d, 1H), 7.84-7.47 (m, 9H), 7.37 (d, 1H), 6.55 (d, 1H), 5.86 (d, 1H), 5.60 (s, 2H), 3.84 (s, 3H), 3.53 (m, 2H), 3.28 (s, 3H), 2.93 (s, 3H), 2.21 (s, 3H); MS: M+1=629.
