N-(2-Benzimidazolylmethyl)ethylenediamine, prepared by reacting ethylenediamino with 2-chloromethylbenzimidazole by the procedure of Example 40, is reacted with 2-dimethylaminoethyl isothiocyanate by the procedure of Example 40 to give the title compound.
