The title compound was prepared from 2-(3-bromo-phenyl)-4-(5-chloro-thiophen-2-yl)-6-trifluoromethyl-pyrimidine (example B.3) (0.25 g, 0.6 mmol) and commercially available 2-amino-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyridine (0.157 g, 0.71 mmol) according to the general procedure III. Obtained as a yellow solid (0.083 g, 32%). MS (ISP) 433.2 [(M+H)+]; mp 99° C.
