Procedure
A solution of 6-bromo-2-(3-chloropropyl)-1-oxo-1,2-dihydroisoquinoline-4-carbaldehyde (Example 10b, 0.90 g) in DMSO (10 mL) was treated with sodium acetate (0.45 g) under nitrogen. The resulting mixture was stirred at 70° C. for 10 h. The cooled reaction mixture was diluted with water (250 mL), and extracted with ethyl acetate (250 mL). The organic was dried (MgSO4), filtered and evaporated to afford subtitle compound. (0.91 g).
