3-Pyridylthiourea (0.047 g, 0.31 mmol) is added to a stirred solution of 4-(1-Bromo-2-oxo-propyl)-2-chloro-benzenesulfonamide (Example 23d) (0.10 g, 0.31 mmol) in ethanol (5 ml). The solution is heated at 60° C. for 3 hours. The solvent is removed and the residue is purified by chromatography on silica eluting with ethyl acetate-hexane to give the title compound (0.020 g).
