Pyrazin-2-yl-thiourea (1a) (0.07 g, 0.57 mmol) is added to a stirred solution of 5-(1-Bromo-2-oxo-propyl)-2-chloro-benzenesulfonamide (33b) (0.15 g, 0.46 mmol) in 1,4-dioxan (10 ml) at room temperature. The reaction mixture is heated to 70° C. for 2 h. The resulting precipitate is removed by filtration and dried under vacuum to give the titled compound
