A mixture of tert-butyl 3-(3-(1-methyl-1H-tetrazol-5-yl)phenethoxy)propanoate [Example 7, Step iii)] (135 mg), DCM (4 mL) and TFA (4 mL) was stirred at 25° C. for 30 min and concentrated under vacuum to afford the subtitled compound as a gum. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.72 (s, 1H), 7.53-7.41 (m, 3H), 4.18 (s, 3H), 3.78-3.72 (m, 4H), 2.96 (t, J=5.9 Hz, 2H), 2.59 (t, J=5.9 Hz, 2H).
