4-chlorothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine (0.050 g, 0.29 mmol) and methyl 3-(6-(4-(1-acetylpiperidin-4-yl)thiazol-2-ylamino)-5-phenoxypyridin-3-ylthio)propanoate (0.15 g, 0.29 mmol) were dissolved in DMSO (3 mL). The solution was degassed for 15 minutes. KOtBu (0.098 g, 0.88 mmol) was added and the reaction stirred at room temperature for two hours. The solution was quenched with water, extracted with dichloromethane, dried, and concentrated. Flash chromatography gave the title compound (0.075, 46%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 1.60-1.72 (m, 2H), 2.08-2.15 (m, 2H), 2.11 (m, 3H), 2.65-2.75 (m, 1H), 2.82-2.93 (m, 1H), 3.15-3.24 (m, 1H), 3.91 (d, 1H), 4.72 (d, 1H), 6.49 (s, 1H), 7.15 (d, 2H), 7.19 (t, 1H), 7.27-7.29 (m, 1H), 7.36-7.42 (m, 3H), 7.53 (d, 1H), 8.27 (d, 1H), 8.68 (s, 1H), 8.81 (s, 1H).
